Official Olympic Resources

The International Olympic Committee is a not-for-profit independent international organization made up of volunteers. The IOC President presides over all its activities, while the IOC Session and Executive Board are responsible for taking the main decisions for the organization.
The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee serves as both the National Olympic Committee and National Paralympic Committee for the United States. The USOPC is responsible for fielding U.S. teams for the Olympic, Paralympic, Youth Olympic, Pan American and Parapan American Games.
The service's main goal is to maintain year-round interest in Olympic sports between iterations of the Summer and Winter Olympics, by showcasing Olympic athletes and competitions outside of the Games proper.
The IOC, the IPC, Tokyo 2020, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Government of Japan agreed new dates for the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, in 2021. The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will be celebrated from 23 July to 8 August 2021.

The committee and its individuals member organizations are not partnered with or represent the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee or the International Olympic Committee or other National Olympic Committees.
